LG has a got a solution for everything. It is truly a customer electronic giant. With its latest offering, the LG BD 390 network Blu-ray disc player, LG has made another serious contribution to the field of blu-ray technology.

1080p- what else

First comes the resolution aspect of it. With 1080p you cant go much wrong. After the introduction of Progressive mode and 1080 horizontal lines, high definition has truly got a fillip. This machine is exemplary in showing just how good high definition can be. Great resolution, sharp images, picture perfect color contrasts and all via HDMI port. Well! The offer seems too good to resist.

The world of future

Haven't we heard somewhere that the world of future will be full of visual dynamics; at least we can make a great start with this one. And yes, in case you do not know, the cinema mode at 24 to 60 frames per second is equally irresistible

And the audio to conclude

Well, we have talked quite a lot about the videos; let's not forget that the audio too is Dolby Digital 7.1 analog output. This does make a large difference to the whole scene.

Barring Homebrew and firmware upgrade glitches; nothing has ever stopped the march of Sony. To say the least, it truly is a monarch in consumer electronic section. With BDPS 300, Sony has done another commendable job.

Many poignant features

The model lets you upscale your DVD via HDMI port. This way you can get high definition images when you watch your DVDs over 1080p screen. Its proprietary Bravia Theater Sync is another winner. It provides one-touch remote player. It's a convincing aspect as it allows people to bring HDMI video and audio within the periphery of a single remote. Packing these kinds of winners will always let you come up with something very smart. BDPS 300 from Sony does just that.

24p True fps

Video output is aligned to 24p true fps. This creates brilliant images and removes any chances of log motion or image flickers. What you perceive is very close to what the director conceived. (Ah! does it smell of Picasso's Cubism).

And to conclude

With superb capacity for storage and 5-times clearer and faster response than DVD's, this blue-ray disc layer looks like cantering home. It's a Sony after all.
